Ngozika Chukwuagu
Ngozika Chukwuagu is a seasoned legal and corporate services professional with ten (10) years’ extensive cognate experience in legal academia, corporate governance, and commercial legal practice. Her legal expertise cuts across international trade law; competition; intellectual property; commercial disputes resolution; government and regulatory services; corporate services; governance, risk, and compliance services; and construction, real estate, and transportation services. Prior to joining Phoenix Attorneys as an Associate, Ngozika served as Counsel and Consultant at various Nigerian law firms, where she gained significant experience in corporate and commercial legal practice. She has a decade’s worth of extensive cognate experience in conducting advanced legal and corporate governance research, and in providing a wide range of tailored legal (and business advisory), transactional support, corporate services, competition, and commercial disputes resolution services to various local and international clients.
Ngozika holds a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in international trade law and policy from the University of Nigeria, where her LLM thesis explored the practical implications of the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (AfCFTA) for the Nigerian economy and beyond. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Nigeria, where she graduated among the top performing students in her class with a Second Class Honours (Upper Division). She replicated this feat at the Nigerian Law School, where she obtained her legal practice qualifying certificate (BL) with a Second Class Honours (Upper Division). Ngozika holds professional membership of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA).
